For the last fifteen years we have fed only RAW to all of our working dogs (Schutzhund and Hunting) with excellent results. Internet resources are far superior to what they were when we started. If I was to switch back to dry, more then likely it would be Orijen. I’ve used it as a supplement on occasion to our raw food, for a variety of reasons, and have several friends that continue to get excellent results with it. The cost may appear to be prohibitive, but having owned a boarding and training kennel, as well as more dogs then common sense should allow, I’ve seen how those vet build add up as the dog hits 7, 8 etc. I have two twelve year old Giant Schnauzers out of German working lines that go several miles a day, as well as a lurcher and a terrier mix that are the same age and they will be my falconry dog this year (once my fat bird gets in shape)
