Hello all,
New to the forum and looking forward to learning more about Ryman type setters. We are working with a breeder in our area to add a puppy to the family.
We are new to English Setters, but certainly not dogs. We currently share our home with a Schnauzer and a cantankerous (but loveable) Sealyham Terrier.
Our first dog together was a Lab, but we “downsized” to smaller breeds after moving to the suburbs. Moved last year to a much larger property and are anxious to have another sporting breed back in our lives.

Welcome Shawn. You will find an incredible amount of information throughout these pages on hunting, training, health and so much more regarding the ryman type setter.
We have two now, Blue that is 13 1/2 years old and Holly now 2 1/2 years. Both are wonderful companions and great hunting partners.
A big part of our focus is retaining the natural ability these dogs possess to hunt wild birds.
